SWOS Students win Golf Tournament

The weather held out on Wednesday May 18th for the Spring SNA Golf Tournament at Green Valley Golf Course in Portsmouth long enough for the 33 teams registered to enjoy the opportunity to be out of the office and on the greens.  The winning team in the scramble format with a score of 16 under par was LT Larry Ford, LT Shane Brewer, LT "JP" Jeanpierre, and LT Dave Sandomir, students in Department Head Class 212 at SWOS.  In addition to the players assigned to commands at NAVSTA Newport and living in the community, there were seven teams representing the visiting ship USS JOHN L. HALL (FFG 32).
